Please can you tell me what your 7 month old routine is like feeding how much and when how much solids?? I'm wondering if I should maybe start giving my baby a dinner aswell as breakfast and tea.

7.30 bottle 210ml
8.30 breakfast - porridge & fruit, weetabix & banana etc
11.00 bottle 150ml
12-1ish lunch e.g egg mayo sandwich, cucumber strips, yoghurt
2.30 milk 150 ml
5.30 dinner e.g sticks of veg, salmon, rice pud
7pm bottle 210 ml bed!

We are currently going down the blw route as DS refuses to eat anything puréed or mushed. He is starting to gradually cut back on his mid morning and afternoon bottles. HTH.

Yes, at seven months both DCs were eating what we eat (in VERY small amounts, obviously) - so toast or cereal for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and perhaps some pasta for supper. Most of it doesn't get eaten, of course, but most nutrition is still coming from milk at this point anyway.

I would love to give my baby toast but I'm so frightened he's going to choke cuz I just can't see him being able to eat it. He haves puréed food I tried him with porridge but he heaves because of the oats and he's going to have to be on 7+ jars now and they have lumps in, will he just get used to having the lumps in his mouth and learning to swollow it.

He'll actually be better with food he can feed himself and tear chunks off than he will be with lumpy food spooned into his mouth. Don't worry too much about choking, it's actually quite rare and you can watch a youtube video about what to do. Gagging is totally different and just a part of them getting used to moving food around their mouths with their tongues. Try him on toast, I'm sure it'll be fine. Not pre-sliced bread, though, it's too sticky when it's wet.

Up at 7 with milk, weetabix at 8. Little bit of.milk before a nap at 9.30/10ish. Snack on waking (toast fingers or some orange segments). Lunch at 12 of whatever I had. More milk before a sleep at 2pm (sleep 1.5hrs), tea at 4. Little snack at 5pm then bath bottle bed at 6.30
