Toddler chipped tooth, feel really emotional about it

My 19 month old fell over and chipped one of his front teeth, I know it's a relatively minor thing and he seems to be over it himself but I actually had a cry about it Blush.

I'm not usually the least bit precious about little accidents, but for some reason this really affected me. I think it's the fact he's going to be stuck with it like that until it falls out naturally. I'm taking him to the dentist in the morning but not sure what they can do. His gum bled a bit so just want to make sure it's ok.

Has this happened to anyone else? I guess I'd like to hear other people's experiences to help me put it in perspective and not feel like a such a bad mum for letting it happen Sad

I feel you my son chipped his head 17month an cut his mouth.Youre allowed to feel upset I do especially because I'd been carrying him an only just put him down so I wish id of not.I also am upset hel be stuck with them till they fall out an worried that the new teeth will come through fine an that the nerves are ok.He has shown pain but he's regular teething so hard to know when he holds his mouth which his hurting. Not to mention I wanted 2year cake smash maybe they can do a bit of editing. As you see it happens try to not carry it he's fine xx

I've just realized it's old are you saying the dentist wanted to cap the tooth. How did her adult teeth come through did you get the slight reconstruction done or left it alone.Surley it wasn't noticable with it been a insissor tooth
