How old when out of nappies at night?

DD is 3, and has been potty trained during the day for months. I'm just begining to ponder when/how to tackle night time nappies.

So how old were your kids when they went to bed in pants rather than nappies?

Hello!
i started a potty training when my baby girl was 7 monthsold. and sometimes now she acually ask to do her things in the potty. but i have a friend and her dd is now 1,8 and she already spends nights without nappy.

Did you try it last night Uwila?

Uwila · 06/04/2006 16:36

Nope, she slept in her lovely silk pyjamas from cambodia last night. So there was no chance of going without nappy. I'm still pondering if I'm up to it, to be honest. May give it a go soon though. Sure would like to get the pull ups off the grocery bill.

As with all things children vary :) but it is usually in the 4th year most start to stay dry at night.

Uwila my dd has just started this (at her behest, "Mummy, Harriet doesn't wear nappies at night so neither will I")

No accidents so far. We have stopped bedtime drink and I lift here when I go to bed. She is 3.6

Hi Uwila!

Dd1 is almost 3 and so we are contemplating it. She manages to have her daytime nap (up to about 2 hours) without any accidents. I think it's more the parents who need to be ready isn't it?! Plenty of clean sheets, plastic undersheet, zillions of pyjamas ...
