Selling totsbots - what's a fair price?

I'm selling dd's size 1 original totsbots to a friend.

I have 20 nippa nappies, 4 white wraps and one red polka wrap plus I'm throwing in loads of nippas and fleece liners. THey were only used for 4.5 months before moving into size 2 and are in pretty fab condition IMHO Grin (I'm very anal about washing things properly).

Do you think £4 a nappy/£3 a wrap is fair? It just feels a bit weird asking a friend for £90, but if I know that's the right price then I won't feel daft.

Had a look at ebay and nappy lady for comparison, but I trust you lot more Smile

That sounds very fair, most seem to ask about £100 for a set and those should see her through til 6-7 mths if shes lucky.

that sounds like a complete bargain!

You could probably sell them for more on E-bay, but that isn't a fair comparison due to E-bay fees etc. The polka wrap is probably worth more, but not the white wraps, as they aren't generally well rated by nappy users (ME are better IMO). I would think you could sell the nappies quite easily for £4.50 each on UKP or the Nappy Lady. However, Tots do seem to have fallen out of favour a bit lately with the new bamboo nappies on the market.

How many fleece liners and nippas are you including? They do actually sell quite well on E-bay, so if you're including a fair amount of them, then that increases the value of the bundle.

I wouldn't worry about taking money from a friend - £90 or £100 is very good value, and unlike disposables, they will have resale value when she's finished with them!!! :o

THe white wraps are a bit naff really. My friend might not actually want the wraps as I've already persuaded her to buy ME wraps whn she went to the Baby Show!

I guess the nappies etc could then be £80 and I'll sell the wraps separately.

Good point about her getting resale value from them - she'll be quids in!!
