first sex?

how long did you wait before having sex for the first timeafter giving birth? i know someone who only waited 11 days - anyone less than this?

A 2 weeks after my 1st, 2/3 weeks after the twins and about the same after my c section.

Dh was ever so gentle bless him Smile

2wks but I didnt have any stitches or any cuts down below. Dh was very gentle and to be honest i almost felt like i was losing my virginity again did anyone else feel like this?

christ, about 5 months in my case. Was far too knackered to entertain the idea before that.

it was like a desert in there though - due to bfing I think.

8 weeks, didn't stop bleeding til 5 weeks and took another 3 for both of us to get up the courage. didn't hurt at all after all the panic so could have done it sooner!

about 4/5 days. i stopped bleeding after 3 days and didn't need stiches.

agree with feeling like your losing your V again. please becareful as after having ds1 i fell pg when he was 10weeks with dd and after having ds2 i fell pg again when he was 9weeks with ? due in 15weeks.

god it was about 6 months before i felt brave enough, in my defense i did have a nasty 3rd degree tear and surgery, and it was sore the 1st time.

4 weeks, 3 months (was sep from exh tho), and 6 weeks. I've heard stories of woman doing it in the postal natel wards tho!

I must add i was horny towards the end of my pregnancy and think i carried that over after giving birth but after 2mths of sleepless nights and leaky breasts well sex was the last thing on my mind.

couple of days, had been off sex big time when pregnant and felt rampant after giving birth!
DH was thrilled
Had easy delivery and no trauma etc very scant/no bleeding until a week after having dd.

eight weeks and I was shocked how much it hurt, especially as I had a c-section!!

5 months with DS1 - 3rd degree tear (from the birth, not the sex :o) with loads of stitches so was somewhat less than keen!
