DD making herself sick - any advice?

It has only happened a couple of times but my dd has taken to putting her fist in her mouth as far back as she can when she wants to get my attention! Always works of course, as there is inevitably a follow through over the cot etc and when I go to her she starts laughing. Can anyone help?

I should add that she's 1 next week, very happy most of the time (except when confined to cot for a few minutes against her will while I pop to the loo, put a wash on etc etc) but a bit on the naughty side....

Many thanks

only thing I can think of is NOT to react.
ok, clean it up, but do so without saying anything or making eye contact

you have to ignore it - it's really horrible but once they realise they can do it, it becomes a very exciting party trick

as she's so young, I doubt there's much good in any sort of punishment techniques but I think turning a blind eye is the only way (though I imagine it might get worse before it gets better)

Can you maybe avoid the issue and take her with you? She might forget about it. Otherwise I think, like everyone else, ignoring it is your best bet. My dd is one in a fortnight btw. Smile
