I have a 14 day old baby. Think I have cried pretty much everyday since she was born! Not bcoz I am sad, but bcoz I just want her to be ok! She has colic, which makes her cry from 5pm til about 5am! Trying everything going. She has conjunctivitis and wouldnt latch, so I have been expressing what I can. I just feel a bit useless, and my husband goes back to work on monday. Anyone have advice!!? Thanks.

moop I'm sure you've tried this, but in case you haven't found the leopard in the tree position calmed down my baby when she was a newborn (where you lie them on their front on your forearm) and sort of sway side to side in a darkened room.

Also, not sure if anyone has suggested colief or infacol for colic? I never used them but know people that did. I know someone that took their son to craniel osteopath for colic also, apparently worked wonders. Good luck.

Also known as tiger in the tree.

Well I have contacted the osteopaths, as i am very open minded and would def like to give it a go! Something has got to help. Right now she is finding comfort having tummy time across my knee.
Not cried today! But little ones colic has got worse, even with us using the dentinox drops in her feed!?! I know she is only 17 days old, but i still feel so damn useless!
Dad has managed to get some sleep this week thankgod, what with him back at work. Having my mum here has been good, but i havent really used her much!! I should b getting more naps in the day. Need to relinquish control!!

Have some naps during the day. Your mum could take your DD for a walk so you can switch off.
