Jellycat toy cleaning tips?

Morning all, does anyone have any good tips for cleaning Jellycat toys (label says don't machine wash)? My daughter's toy monkey is not smelling too pleasant so need to sneak it away when she's distracted... Thanks!

I always wash soft toys in the machine even if they say not to. Stick it in a pillow case on a quick wash and it should be fine

I also just bung in on a wool cycle.

Me too, and often in the tumble dryer after that!

It the machine with the normal wash and a tumble dry brings it up nice and fluffy again!

I have the jellycat monkey. Comes out lovely after a 40 degree wash & a gentle tumble dry.

Washing machine and hot press (aka airing cupboard) here. Comes up nice and fluffy.

Jellycat panda, DS special smelly toy is double bagged with one pillowcase tightly wrapped and tied round him, then a second one, loosely wrapped. Washed on a quick wash, then left to dry in a warm room on a muslin. He has survived the process about twenty times so far.

Thanks everyone, hopefully "Albert" will be less gag inducing soon!
