Calpol question

Although I take tablets at the thought of a headache, am keen not to give anything to dd (20 weeks) unless she really needs it. Today she is grisly, not keen to take a feed(4oz since 5am) and generally out of sorts. Has had 2 1/2 hour nap as opposed to 15/30 mins. So question is : is this a calpol moment or just a grumpy baby day?
Do not want to be neglectful or a drug pusher.

It's a hard call, I'm a reluctant painkiller-taker myself and used to worry about withholding Calpol when the dcs were tiny (they can now both ask for it, AND Nurofen, by name Blush).
If she doesn't have a fever I'd leave it, tbh. But check her gums and see if there is a tooth looming...

you could try 2.5ml and see if it has any effect. It won't do any harm even if she is just having a grisly day.

yes, i would give half a dose too
