Leaking night nappies - help please

dd is 10mths and about 23lbs. She wears cloth during the day but is a heavy wetter and I found her night nappies got so wet she got nappy rash so she's in disposables at night. Recently her disposable nappies have leaked on several occasions, and leaked badly; soaked through vest, sleepsuit and grobag. I've tried different brands tesco, boots and pampers and they've all leaked. She's in maxis and they look quite large on her, they leak at the back of the nappy out the top. Anyone got anything else that we can try or any other suggestions?

my dd had this prob with cloth, and disposables are pretty useless. i went up to the next size in cloth, which although they're far too huge for daytime help keep her dry at night.

What cloth was she in at night? Maybe changing the type of cloth is the answer... I found that if DD was going to soak through a disp, she would in whatever brand it was.

bambino mio, have always used them as they have the waterproof outer mappy and you just change the inner. also they have liners available which help keep the moisture off her skin.

pocket nappies are brill for nightime...never had a single leak i have minki's and wee notions

She's mainly in motherease with airflow wraps, I've tried these at night, boosted twice, also tots bots, minki huggles, slinki minkis, minkis and fuzzi bunz, with fleece wrap and motherease wraps. Have just got a wee notions, could try this and I've got a bumhugger on the way. I'm a true cloth addictWink. Trouble is if its boosted too much and is too bulky she won't settle in it as its uncomfortable for her, this might be a bit better now she's bigger though as she mainly sleep on her side. What are the most absorbant nappies without bulk? I use fleece liners, I could try silk liners do you think these would help, I wouldn't need many if its just for night.

the BM are very absorbant without being too bulky. they're not figure hugging by any means but even in the huge size she doesn't seem bothered by them comfort wise. to be honest she always seems far more uncomfortable when i have to use disposables in an emergancy as she seems to feel she's naked they're so thin!

the other good thing about the BM is if they're still not absorbant enough you can still add boosters or an extra terry nappy or something and they'll still close.

Is the wrap big enough to cope with the double boosters? We always found that when the nappies started to leak we needed to go up a size in wrap.

i can usually squeeze them in as the waistbands are quite generous and the crotch is nice and deep, not too comfortable for sitting up or moving around but grand or lying down.
