The sad day has come when I am putting away my nappies - boo! Any suggestions for what kind of strip wash I should do?

I have come to the point of putting away my beloved BG V 3.0 nappies. They have been my pride and joy - serving us well for 2 years 11 months.

However, I think the time has come to put them away. :( We are teetering on the edge of potty training and the fit is getting a little small, plus it was getting a bit complicated with washable nappies, wipes, pants and disposables all hanging around.

But, I would like to strip wash them before putting them away. I have the BG pockets, microfibre inserts and easypeasy hemp inserts. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Watching with interest as I'm stocking up on second hand fluff and will do a thorough wash nearer my due date! Mine are mostly terry fitteds plus various wraps, i can only aspire to fancy patterned AIOs at the moment Wink

Yes I'll watch this too, though I've only got plain terry squares, plain flannie liners and airflow wraps. Should clean before I sell them!

I just kept washing mine with no detergent until there were no bubbles in the water. First couple of washes at 60 then 40 degrees.

But what about actual stain removal? They have been hung in the sun before, but there are stains on some inserts etc.

Probably depends what they are, if two parters you could try bleaching the inner (probably shouldn't for AIOs) Otherwise see if an extended period in the sun would work?
