I have enrolled to do maths GCSE one evening a week and access to higher education 15hours a week at my local college. My partner will be studying 15 hours a week also. We have a 2.5 year old daughter and I'm due in November, will we be able to manage?

Try it and see how it goes. Is there any penalty for not completing the courses? You already know that you will need to plan and negotiate who is doing what to accommodate. Good luck.

Just a thought, do you need to do the GCSE in maths? I did access last year and everyone who didnt have gcse at c or above in english and maths did it within the access course... I'd check yours isnt the same unless you need the specific GCSE as you may get the 'equivilent' anyway.

I know how you feel though, its daunting isnt it. I start Uni in september, DC will be 5, nearly 4 and just 2 months :( and we will be trying for another... at the moment getting us all dressed in the morning feels like a challenge so bugger knows how it will work out!!

I'm sure it will though, blind hope seems to be the best option at the moment :)

Good luck OP :)
