Hi I'm 18 years old and just had my child taken and put up for adoption, social services advised my mother not to let me and my partner round because he hasn't done a risk assessment. My mum still has my 15 year old sister live there, would my sister be taken if we went there? I personally don't think that there is anything they can do my sister is old enough to make her own decisions right??

I don't think you have provided enough information for people to help you much, it sounds like you need to try to get some proper legal advice or talk to someone like CAB

Well my daughter got taken because me and her father (my partner) split and he has a criminal history from like 10 years ago, so they wanted him to do a risk assessment he didn't so now they are saying he cannot go near our daughter. And now our daughter has gone up for adoption social services said to my mum that he should not go near my sister who is 15 years old and enjoys seeing us! So my question is will my sister get taken if my mum allows us to her home!! Basically will she get social services invovled by not listening to them even though we all know he isn't a risk? And he shouldnt have to do a risk assessment to go near a kid that isnt his.
