but ds is only 12 months old. They are the right size for him. Is he supposed to be wearing them now then?

no i use them for night times once htey are potty trained

Hulababy · 09/03/2006 17:55

I used Easy Ups with DD from about 14/15 months as I found them easier to use than nappies. But they are dearer and not necessary at all, unless you want to use them for any reason.

TearsBeforeBedtime · 09/03/2006 17:55

sounds like a cunning marketing ploy to get us to buy dearer nappies for toddlers! I thought you only use them at potty training age.

Hulababy · 09/03/2006 17:57

I never used them for potty training at all. They are too much like a nappy and I think they confuse matters. I went cold turkey straight into pants in the day. We have reusable pull ups for night time.

MrsCurly · 09/03/2006 18:28

Hulababy where did you get your reusable pull-ups for night time? The only ones I've found are the Motherease bedwetter ones but they are unbelieveably expensive.

(Appologies for the hijack)

I tried to use these when DS before DS was toilet trained & found them a nightmare, as they kept falling down when wet, as they had no tapes to keep them up.
This led to me changing him every 5 minutes & the pack was gone in a couple of days!
They are probably better for night time pull ups, once they are toilet trained in the day.

Hulababy · 09/03/2006 18:31

MrsCurly - they are the ones I have. The Bedwetters. They are exoensve initially. I have 3 pairs. In the long run they do save money though. I also sold my last set of 3, when DD grew out of them, for over £10 a pair so they have a very good resale value.
