Help with babytalk

I am a Spanish mum and I am a teacher of English in Spain. I feel really confident speaking English in most situations, but now, I'd love to speak English to my PFB and feel lost for words in some situations because I'd never talked to a baby before.
I'd like to know, for example, what to tell her if she hurts herself, but any affective expressions that you use with your babies will be most welcome.
Thanks a lot for your help.

I hope he does JHS ! I think he's going to have more English exposure than Dutch in the pre-school years as I'll only be working 3 days a week and am a teacher so will be around during the school holidays. We hardly ever watch Dutch language TV (because it's terrible) and DH and I speak English together. Once he goes to school it's going to be a different story!

With the galloping song

Ladies ride side saddle, gentlemen ride astride, for the farmers your knees move independantly do the child gets an uneven ride.

Hello Noren,
It's a good suggestion, in theory, because living in Spain, it's going to be extremely difficult to find one of those groups Sad
If I could , I'd love to!

Thanks Gnocchi!!! The little song about the crocodile looks excellent. I'm sure it'll make DD giggle a lot Smile
And I'll also put the rest of your suggestions into practice.

Got lots of rhymes we use and we attach them to times of the day too so if you google a song "five little ducks went swimming one day" we use that one at bath time with some little rubber ducks.

Thanks Gnocchi!! I knew the song and have played it to DD many times, but I hadn't thought about the connection with bath time.
As we haven't started using toys in the bath, she's still a bit young, we are in time to incorporate that routine.
Thanks again!!!
