That is what I have used, and plan to use again. I used pinking shears, but plan to sew them this time.

Thanks. I've heard camomile tea is good to moisten them, can lav oil and water be ok?

I only ever used johnsons top to toe or water. I plan to use camomile tea this time, but need to research further, so will watch with interest. What nappies are you using?

I got some Bamboozles off Ebay and started using them last night. They came with some Motherease wraps and so far no problems! Grin

Right. Made by Tots Bots. I have some old Fuzzis, and am waiting on an order of Little Lamb bamboo nappies. Similar to yours I think. Did you get the stretchy ones?

Notgrownupinmyhead · 27/07/2012 16:21

No even though i think i should've done as ds2 is somewhat rubenesque! I suppose I can sell them and get something a bit more stretchy if he outgrows them soon. New to all this me! Smile

You will probably be surprised how long they fit him as they tend to grow longer and thinner. I found mine went down a size in the Fuzzis. I am only just getting back into it after a gap of about 18 months.

Notgrownupinmyhead · 27/07/2012 17:31

Yeah, thats true now he's started crawling. Ill get me use out of them with another on the way! Confused dont they look cute in them?

After looking at the helpful section on wipes/recipes on the Nappy Lady website, I've been making up a mug of chamomile, honey and vanilla tea and adding in a teaspoon of olive oil. That does enough (fleece & towelling) wipes for about a day for me. It's been really healing on DDs eczematous wee bum.

Notgrownupinmyhead · 27/07/2012 20:55

Ooh that sounds really nice. Ive read mixed views on fleece, is it normal everyday fleece?

I bought rather than made them. The ones I use wet are double sided towelling/fleece and bought some from Tiny Nippers and some from eBay. I also have just fleece ones, which I use dry to dry her bum and again got them from eBay (Easy Peasy Nappies) - they're just like normal fleece, although don't seem to be bobbling just as much as fleece usually does.

I really like the solution - it smells nice! And I reckon I can manage a tea bag per day seeing as I'm not paying for nappy sacks or cotton wool pads now.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 28/07/2012 00:04

I tend to use the fleece side for just wet nappies, and the towelling side for pooey ones. I wouldnt like to use the pure fleece ones wet but they're fab for drying her.

Notgrownupinmyhead · 28/07/2012 06:49

Thanks! Ill try them all and see how i get on i think. Grin
