So I just had the joy of DD acting out to me the 'funny noises' she heard me making in the night when she got up for a wee.

And what was your explanation?

MsMommy · 22/07/2012 12:52

I must have been having a dream? #lame

Not too lame since she rather put you on the spot. Was daddy dreaming too?

Er, yeah, but not so noisily.
She thought it was hilarious. I had to insist she didn't share it with ANYONE not even granny and grandpa. Can just imagine her acting out this great joke for them. weeps with shame

How old is she? There is a certain age where forbidding telling is guaranteed to result in a very public performance... Shock

MsMommy · 22/07/2012 13:10

I know!! But I didn't know what else to do! SO embarrassed. My parents are coming tomorrow so it will probably be fresh in her mind. Thank heaven the school holidays are on so she can't share it with her friends in the playground.
She's 7. I'm just going to have to hope that my parents are sensitive enough not to re-enact it for me, aren't I? cry

You could pre-empt dd by telling your parents about this really, really intense and vivid dream you had the other night, and hope they put 2+2 together?

We both know this isn't going to work
