Hi everyone
I am currently a sahm but going back to college in sept to do my access course to enable me to apply at uni to become midwife - but it just dawned on me, how the hell am i going to be a midwife and look after ds during school hols, my mum works days my sister works days my grans too old, my dad isnt that involved so i dont have any other childcare family based so that means sending ds off to hired childcare which im abit ummm about purley because it would be like packing him off (my mum worked alot in summmer hols etc and i used to HATE going to summer club etc)
do you work? what do you do with your dcs during school hols?!

You might find that others on your course you meet others that are in a similar position and be able to 'pool' your children? Or if you're thinking a few years in the future you're children might be old enough to start friendships in your local area that lead to some sort of informal care arrangement.
