How often do they stay and for how many nights?

DS first went to GPs for 4 nights when he was 3. a few months later DS and DD (then about 16 months) went to GPs for a week so DH and I could have a belated honeymoon over our 10th wedding anniversary.

Since then DC have been to GPs for up to a week up to 5 or 6 times a year (in school holidays). GPs live a good 3 hours away, and this means they have a really good relationship with them. My sis, SIL, and PIL all live near my DParents, and DC go and stay over/spend time with all their relatives each time they stay at my parents. Family love having them, DC love going, we enjoy a few days when we can go out for a meal/cinema/walk without organising a babysitter.

DC spend one night every 3 weeks or so and their grand mothers but never when they have school the next day as its too far to get them to school on time.

DS also spends another night every fortnight at his grand fathers (my parents are separated) DD does not stay there as she starts the day at 5.30am.

Very rarely now they are at school. My parents used to take them to their caravan occasionally before they started school, maybe two nights every few months?

My in-laws have had nephew (their grandson) to stay over every Saturday night since he was about 3 months old. He'll be five soon.

It's pretty ad hoc, she probably sleeps at my PILs , once a month on average, more often in the school holidays, plus the last few years they've taken her on holiday for a week in the summer.

Mine stayed with my inlaws for a few nights in the school holidays, maybe 4 nights and will do the same in the summer holidays. I think they have stayed twice (without DH). They didn't want to have them overnight until both were toilet trained.

They have never stayed at my Dad's. He hasn't offered to have them and I would say no if he asked

I used to love staying at my grandmas, but it was only occasional.
