Hi much t to my surprise I seen to be preferring two parters to pocket nappies so so I'm trying to work out which one is best.

I want something
-slim fitting( not keen on my lollipop micro fleece)

  • Has no inserts to be fished out ( like my old version flexitots but have seen that the new version has an insert that has to be stuffed)
  • Good on a newborn ( dont mind sized bc dont like bulky nappies)

Am thinking bamboozle stretch size 1 might be good but was wondering about whether the little lambs bamboo come up big or not, or whether there's another brand I should be considering. Ideally want short drying time too but I know that's hard to get with a slim fit.

Thanks in advance.

Think you will need bamboo for the slim fit.

Maybe try Easy Peasy Bambeasy www.easypeasynappies.co.uk/easy-peasy-bambeasy-sized-aplixpopper-fastening-371-p.asp

many thanks for your reply. i'm not sure i want pockets, as the main reason i like the shaped nappies is that i don't have to stuff pockets or fish them out, they just go straight in the nappy bin and come out of the machine ready to go. also not sure dh would get on with nappy nippas....do you have any other ideas of good ones? otherwise i may just buy the flexitots as that babykind website you linked to has a great bargain section and has some old style flexitots which are the ones i like best so far. many thanks for your help :)

also is there something im missing by preferring the old style?? i know the rise poppers would be useful but its the fold in insert i dont like, id prefer a booster on top so theres less handling of mess, but am i missing somethig really obvious?

I think they probaby just take longer to dry!

The little lambs bamboo nappy I got is quite bulky, bigger than the tots bots stretchies, at least in the size 2s

We love itti bitti d'lish, really slim and very cute fleecy wraps. The snap in ones work on poppers, so really easy to assemble and pop apart for washing.

I'm using a blueberry wrap and a flip microfleece insert, don't find this terrrible bulky and they wash and dry really quickly!

Smartipants are excellent - my fave on 6 week old ds and yes they do have an insert but it automatically washes out and comes ou separate!! I didn't believe it would but it really does - so you don't need to pull the insert out. And they fit under "normal" clothes (I don't like the bulk either).

I got mine from fill your pants. :)
