nappy inserts

hi there-
i'd be grateful for people's advice and experiences on which pocket nappy inserts are the best ones to avoid leaks...
I'm using fuzzi bunz and slinki minkis for my 4 month old and am getting a few leaks now and then. This is happening particularly with the fuzzi bunz - around the stitching on the legs - but i'm hoping this is because the inserts aren't absorbent enough rather than the nappy failing?
Anyway - at the moment I've got wonderfulls microterry inserts and mother of eden microterry inserts.
Does anyone know if hemp is more absorbent? How long does it take to dry? Any other suggestions!! Perhaps he's just a really heavy wetter Smile - he sure drinks enough...
thanks!

Hemp is supposed to be more absorbent but takes a lot of washes to reach maximum absorbancy. I actually use Bambino Mio prefolds in my fuzzisand find them great but I don't think ds3 is a very heavy wetter. Joey bunz are supposed to be good bot I've never tried them.

I've tried a few hemp inserts (Joey Bunz, JamTots, Ellas House, Hemp Babies) and found the best for drying are the ones you fold - EH, JamTots and Hemp Babies, they are usually two layers that fold to 4 or 6 layers, you can also get hemp prefolds which work well too. I prefer hemp to micro fibre as it is natuall and cooler and I have heard that microfibre looses its absorbancy after a awhile.

One I haven't tried as an insert is bamboo (www.babykind.co.uk), it is quite as absorbant as hemp but stays softer
