Best wraps for a newborn?

Am expecting dc2 in July, and have ordered some size 0 Bimbles for the early weeks. I used cloth on dd from 10 weeks, but planning to start ASAP with this one. However, I can't seem to make a decision on the best wraps! I had settled on the Mini Blueberry, but it seems they're now discontinued. I have a Tots Bots Flexi wrap in a size 0 that seems ok, but it seems very high in the rise, & I'm not convinced it will contain everything well at the legs. Dd was only 6lb 7oz, & whilst I realise this baby may not be the same, it's fairy likely, as I'm very small. She was also delivered at 38 wks (breech), & this one currently in same position. Ideally I'd like something with poppers, to avoid that stiff tummy thing, but any advice appreciated. Dd wears BGs & Ittis now, so wraps are one thing I'm not too au fait with!

I used Mother ease wraps right from birth. I found them to best wraps regardless of the age/size.

Thanks, I was considering a Motherease Rikki, so will give those a go I think.

Motherease Airflow gets my vote.

Small Motherease and TotsBots here, also BabyBeehinds from a couple weeks. We had some Mothercare smartnappies which are smaller but too small to hold even a week-old's poo.
I waited for the meconium to pass before using cloth, though.

Thanks for the replies. TheHonMrsP, are the airflow not a bit 'balloony'? I prefer a slim fit.

They do give a baggy look and are not as cute as eg Nature Babies, but work really well. Have not tried a Rikki though.

Thanks, I think I'm going to order a couple of XS Rikki & see how we go. I know Motherease have a good name for their wraps.

Using nature babies on my 3 week old but he's 9lb Smile

Wow hatchypom, hope you didn't have too many clothes in newborn size! Dd is 9th centile, only weighs 23lb now, at 26 months! Mind you, when it comes to wraps, I suppose it's more about leg circumference.
