Out and about using washable liners and about to start weaning...

at the moment, I bung the milk pooed-on liners into the nappy bin but DS is 5 months old and we will be weaning in the next month, when, as I recall from DD, his poo will change big time!!

Just thinking ahead, if you are out and about in a baby change room and have a washable liner full of solid poo, what do you do? At home, i would take it over to the loo and shake poo off but often baby change rooms don't have loos and even if they do, it's often not practical to leave a baby on a change top and walk to the loo on the other side of the room (where I live there are lots of multiple user change rooms, so I don't fancy having to leave a poo nappy on full display whilst i strap DS back into buggy.
I'm not keen on bringing liners home full of solid poo, especially if I've been out a while and may have more than one - the thought of digging them out once home makes me wince.

I did think perhaps shaking poo into a nappy sack and putting in nappy bin but is that not very environmentally friendly?

Any tips? Does everyone use paper liners when out?
Ta.

When they went through a weird in between sludge stage for a few weeks/months I used washable paper liners so if they had solids on I could flush them away if not you could wash and reuse.

Once more solid I used fleece liners. If soiled, I'd put the whole nappy and liner in a plastic scented nappy sack. Once home I found that the poo dropped off the liner really easier as the nappy had continued soaking the wetness from the liner.

Hope that helps.

I used fleece liners. If it is easy to roll the poo off ther liner I would just wrap it and put in the nappy bin. If it is a bit stickier I'd wrap the while nappy in a bag to deal with at home.
