dh is disabled, crutches and wheelchair user, he takes our 5 year old dd to school as i am at work, the school has 1 bb space and every morning no matter what time he gets there someone else is in the space, this person is also disabled and has a blue badge, the problem is that they dont actually get out of their car, she just sits there till friends turn up, natter till the bell goes then said friends take her children into the school, whilst dh has to park on the main road opposite the school, using 2 crutches and trying desperately to keep hold of dd to cross the road then through the car park and into school, surly if she dosent need to get out of her car she shouldnt be taking up the bb space, when we collect dd she is not there but we dont use the space dh stays in the car and i get out and collect her, should i say something to this lady or have a word with the school

Speak to the school, they should be monitoring this space. Does this woman know about your husband needing the space?

i just found out that the school have already talked to her about this issue as someone else has complained, and she agreed with what they said and promised to only park there if she intends to get out of her car, so far nothing has changed,so she is obviously aware that there are other disabled parents that could and would like the use of this space
