I should know this really but if I'm doing an nhs funded course I don't apply to Student Finance unless I need a loan. Is that right? Help!

Sorry for stupid wrong title! Due to start an nhs funded course in September and I don't think I'll be entitled to the nhs bursary (apart from the non means tested £1000) as dh earns too much, nor will I be eligible for a student loan as I took out loads years ago when I did my first degree. I know the Student Finance deadline is approaching but I'm assuming i don't have to do anything since I'm not applying for a loan through them. Is that right?! The nhs fees/bursary is all done separately isn't if? I should know this Blush !

you can still get a student loan if you want. I am currently doing midwifery and ive got the basic non means tested loan I also have a previous loan from a degree i did 10 years ago. NHS courses are exempt from the 'can't have a loan twice rule'.
Also you need to apply for bursary even if you wont qualify as the bursary is what entitles you to have your tuition fees paid by the NHS iyswim.
