We're all entitled to some treatment! whether its a nice bath, retail therapy, hair cut you name it. or something even more simple.

Pate. And blue cheese. And champagne. And a Marlboro Light. Good times, good times.

MrsMcEnroe · 19/04/2012 19:35

YY, pate and blue cheese. And LOTS of chocolate - I couldn't keep in down at all, during both pregnancies, and I am a chocoholic!

Didn't have time for a bath (a couple of minutes for a shower like StarshitTerrorise) or retail therapy though ...

trikken · 19/04/2012 19:39

Lots of Patè as I love it and couldnt eat it.

CalamityJones · 19/04/2012 19:39

I knew I'd married the right man when we got home to a house full of flowers and a bottle of Veuve next to about a kilo of foie gras...

trikken · 19/04/2012 19:42

MrsMcEnroe chocolate was one of the only things I could keep down. Prob why dd was so deliciously plump at birth.

I ate about a kilo of runny Brie and crackers that DH and D sis-in-law had brought me (separately)!!

And I had a long relaxing bath with lavender oil every evening for about 2 weeks whilst DH kept DD happy/quiet!! Grin

Timeoutofmind · 19/04/2012 19:49

Wine, lovely wine. Grin

& I got my hair cut & dyed.

OnlyWantsOneTwoAndThree · 19/04/2012 19:51

Lol @ the confession of a Marlboro light Grin

QueenKong · 19/04/2012 19:52

My lovely mum bought me hundreds of pounds worth of Jo Malone goodies!

frankie4 · 19/04/2012 19:55

Nothing. I don't know why, but I was not in the mood or right frame of mind to be thinking of treating myself. All my thoughts were about the baby, and I guess the only treat to myself would have been to have some sleep!

FunbleBummy · 19/04/2012 19:57

A huuuuge sugary Starbucks iced mango drink and a million chocolates.

I get Gestational Diabetes.

CalamityJones · 19/04/2012 19:58

In my defence, it was only the one! But it was one of the all time great cigarettes.

Frankie, if it helps at all for next time, the champagne did seem to help my dd sleep rather soundly on her first night home, which in turn enabled my cheese and pate orgy.

The karmic payback for my fun was that my dd suffered from colic and I had to go dairy free for two months when she was three weeks old.

Tanyaaah · 19/04/2012 20:05

Coffee and cake nearly every day to keep my spirits up!

BikeRunSki · 19/04/2012 20:07

Peanut butter

Actually, just food, any food that stayed down. Hyperemisis wore off around the same time as the anasetic (I know that is spelt wrong!) from the emcs, and hospital tea and toast was like Nectar!

DawnOfTheDee · 19/04/2012 20:08

Reeeeeeally rare steak, blue cheese, wine, Marlborough lights and cocktails Grin

Meglet · 19/04/2012 20:11

Brie and champagne.

One mouthful of champagne after 9 months off is lethal Grin.

RunningOutOfIdeas · 19/04/2012 20:12

Like several others, pate, blue cheese, rare steak and red wine. DD then did not settle until 5am. Wonder if it was the wine or cheese that was the problem.

OnlyWantsOneTwoAndThree · 19/04/2012 20:14

My goodness. I didn't stop eating any of the above things Blush

RedMolly · 19/04/2012 22:00

Arnica and tea tree oil (oh, and endless stilton sandwiches)
