We've always used cloth at night (currently Little Lamb cotton nappies with a hemp booster & Airflow wrap) because DS is a really heavy wetter. However he has had really bad nappy rash (red inflamed patches) which have improved since stopping cloth in the day, but are now getting worse after night times.
The last time we tried disposables at night (he was 18 months) the best we could find were Huggies, which leaked 50% of the time.
Are there any other disposables which might be absorbant enough? He is 2.3 y.o. and weighs about 38lbs.
Last night he was so wet that this morning that one whole leg of his PJs was a different colour from the other, right down to the ankle. Being wet wakes him at the end of every sleep cycle.
If I wake him for a change before I go to bed, he'll often be awake for 1.5-2 hours so I'm reluctant to do that.
He does drink loads in the day, and at night (bfs before sleep and every time he wakes). He uses the potty before bed though so at least he has an empty bladder at the start of the night.
Any suggestions?
