There is no bath at the new flat and we are in a bath time routine - DD is too big at nearly six months for baby bath - any ideas?

Amazon has some inflatable baths that you could fill and use in the shower tray/bathroom floor, for example this one Also good for travelling.

When we went visitng bath-less relatives, we'd just sit/lie DS on a non-slip mat (or one of these when he was younger www.olivers-baby-care.co.uk/delta-baby-easy-bath-newborn-baby-bath-support.html ) on the shower tray and hose him down! He loved it!

At 2.1 he often requests a shower rather than a bath :)

What kind of baby bath have you got? Mine both fitted in comfortably until at least 18 months?

what about this

How about starting a shower routine instead? My niece never had baths, and had daily showers from day one. Very grown up!

How about a rhino tub from asda, they're only £4 for a big one. I've used them for my DD and still use it when we go to the caravan. Actually I've kind of got an addiction to them and have about 7! Blush They're fab for gardening, as a washing basket, toy tub etc. love a bargin me :)

Showering is also a great way to get them used to having water splashing on their face, so hair washing is else of a trauma! Smile

Your DS will soon grow back into a baby bath. I remember there was a point when mine was too big to lie down in the baby bath. As soon as he could sit independently he fitted back in it again.

We love it, it takes seconds to fill, hardly uses any water, but he has a whale of a time splashing about.
