Hi, I just wanted to know what nappies are best to use that dont leak, as everytime my DD poos it leaks out everywhere! And her poos are very runny as she is breastfed, I'm getting fed up having to wash baby clothes in the sink to remove all the poo before putting them in the washing machine. I'm using pampers at the moment and they are rubbish, what happenend to them as years ago they used to be good and not leak.

I have just switched to asda little angels nappies just as we are about to start potty training, typical.

I love them, so much better than pampers and huggies.

I got huggies too and they leaked just like the pampers ones, i might try using the asda ones as im fed up with branded nappies now! Thanks for reply oreocrumbs.

No problem, I bought them on a whim and really rate them.

Apparently aldi nappies are very good too but I haven't tried them. I feel your pain, dd was the same when she was bf and then once you get past the runny poo, they start weeing lots!!

Good luck!

a good shaped cloth nappy with a decent wrap is far more reliable than any disposable imo

NappyShedSal · 27/03/2012 13:15

Tots Bots Easifits and Pop'n'Gro V2 both have decent elastic and are VERY good at containing poo.

Huggies and Pampers never worked for me with both of my DD...I found supermarket own brand were good, but my favourite are the Eco nappy by Nature babycare - they are brilliant...

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 27/03/2012 14:35

I second nappies by Nature babycare. We had very few mishaps and they only happened when the poos were so explosive nothing would hold them back. Also Sansbury's own Eco nappies are great and a bit cheaper.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 27/03/2012 14:35

Nothing would hold them in.

Lidl nappies are great! Far less leaky than anything else I've used and half the price.

onelittleclara · 27/03/2012 14:40

YY to Nature nappies. I have three DC and they all use these and they are brilliant ( as well as being a little better for the environment/child than normal disposibles- no gluey smell!)

KnitterNotTwitter · 27/03/2012 14:40

I liked the Boots own brand best although I know some people don't.

I'd just try a few different varieties and see which fits your LO best - their hips/bums are all different!

FWIW why are you hand washing the poo off the clothes before putting them in the machine? Personally I dislike the idea of poo in my sink more than the idea of poo in my washing machine. If any of DS's clothes got pooey I just to just make sure I did a pre-wash and extra rinse with that load of washing to make sure it was all washed away...

ronx · 27/03/2012 14:51

I found the Naturecare nappies leak horribly on my DD.
I swear by Aldi nappies. Even their pull-ups do not leak at night.

Missielovelie · 27/03/2012 23:03

Im gonna try some supermarket own brand nappies, see which is best at stopping leaks when my DD poos. I must say her poo is very runny and sometimes blasts out, i have been told its because of breastfeeding. KnitterNotTwitter my washing machine does not have a pre-wash or extra rinse as its an eco type one, i prefer using the sink anyway cos i can always bleach the sink afterwards.

How annoying no pre-wash/extra rinse -
