Exit strategy for sling loving baby

Hello just wondered if anyone had any good tips to share on how to ease my baby away from napping in the sling and towards napping in her moses basket.

She is only 7 weeks old so at the moment it is fine having her napping in the sling while I potter about and hang out with her brothers but as she gets bigger would like her to nap in her cot but not sure how to get to this point. My sons both happily slept in their pushchair but DD always wakes up as soon as the motion stops, same with sling actually I have to keep jiggling!

Anyone got any pointers on how to transition to napping in cot or pram and what age do you think it might be wise to start trying?

Thanks!

where does she sleep at night? Does she have a bed time routine? We introduced a bit of a routine in the evening, swaddling, story, brown noise (I prefer it to white!) and I do the same sort of thing (except story) during the day so DS gets some daytime sleep - seems to work although it takes a bit of time and I usually bf to sleep which people say you shouldn't do. I only started the daytime nap business recently, at around 16 weeks.

Napping in the sling is perfectly fine for her though, I guess it's a bit of a bind for you though.

DS is 11mo and still slings. He has occasionally crashed out on the bed before now but mostly just slings.

I prefer it tbh as friends whose babies only nap in the cot seem to be very tied. I just have the baby tied to me!

Thanks for all your responses. DD does sleep in her moses basket at night and we have a sort of bedtime routine, but it takes me about 45 mins of BF to get her to sleep and in the day with 2 DSs to run around after can't really do this.

I look back on the hours I used to spend getting DC1 to sleep in his pram and know I just don't have the time to do that with DD....am secretly hoping that she'll turn into one of these babies that just suddenly self settles but seems unlkely as at present she is very much reliant on me and the sling...ho hum.
