Hi everyone,
I dont know what is wrong with me i have a nearlly 10mo beautiful DS who is my everything, my im so tired i dont want to do ANYTHING! This morning i didnt even get up with him and take him for breakfast instead we just snuggled back down and had a bf and slept for two more hours, he was awake from1am till 4am and up at 7am though....
I feel like one day im ok and happy and dandy, the next im ugh and crappy and i havent taken ds for a walk into town for ages, we have been out, but not out into town etc....
Is this normal?

I really need to think about taking him to meet other bubbas aswell.... its just so hard getting moving recently......

Um. I don't really know if it's normal, but I definitely feel the same sometimes- my daughter is 8 months.

I doubt he's noticed he hasn't been for a walk to town- all he knows, I'm sure, is that he's in a nice cosy bubble with a mum who loves him. As long as you are meeting his basic needs and he is safe, you're doing what he needs. However, if he is waking like this through the night on a regular basis, no wonder you're knackered!

I find that I can manage one busy day out and about, and the next day I need to take it easier. (Hopefully it will get better as she sleeps better.)

I've felt like I've got the flu coming on every morning for the last 14 months.

HOWEVER you might be extra tired due to an under active thyroid or anemia, so worth a trip to the doctors, maybe?

The risk is you get into a cycle of not wanting to go out, feel worse, don't feel like going etc. Good idea to have a lie in but try and have an afternoon walk especially if the sun is shining? Then look into local groups etc to meet other mums and babies and take from there?

Iggly makes a good point- I was thinking about that too, after posting. You will probably feel better after getting out, especially if you can make it along to a friendly group. But don't feel guilty, your boy is fine!

Paige's point is also a good one- a wee trip to the doc might be an idea, just to rule out any deficiencies.

Hope you're feeling better today...
