Hey everyone...this is my first post but I'm hoping someone can give me advice!! I have two kids a boy aged 11 and a girl aged 9. My issue is with food. My son is a skinny urchin whereas my daughter is overweight for her age but they have the same diet and my daughter is the more active of the two. My question is...does anyone else have similar issues either way around boy/girl or same sex siblings? Most of their diet is home cooked and relatively healthy (treats are occasional). Just need advice really! Ta muchly.

I wouldn't panic unduly. But, if you wanted to make a change, just tweak the design of their meals a little. DD would have a plate filled 1/2 with veg/salad, 1/4 each with protein and carbohydrates. DS would have a plate filled 1/2 with carbohydrates, 1/4 each protein and veg/salad plus extra fat in the form of butter on potatoes/rice or dressing on salad. It means everyone is still eating the same healthy home-cooked food, but the calorific value of the plate is rather less for DD than DS.
