Homestart in these circs ssd (Surestart does support families but not by sending in volunteers as it were).
Meet-a-Mama provided befriending volunteer support I think too.

MAMA = Meet a MUM, sorry

Maybe TAMBA (the twin and multiple birth support group) might have some suggestions?

ssd · 25/01/2006 16:10

thanks!

Piffle · 25/01/2006 16:30

nannyme · 25/01/2006 19:34

wish i was nearer to you ssd. i would have offered to help. totally understand how hard it is with twins- mine were 2 last week.

i am in livingston though

ssd · 26/01/2006 11:04

thanks jambuttie!

it's someone my mum knows who has the twins, my 2 are aged 4 and 7 so I haven't got experience of twins but I can imagine it's hard work!!

I've told my mum about the agency, I hope the girl with twins phones them and gets a bit of help.

thanks for all your replies!
