Hi mosschops, I don't think it was me, are you thinking of WigWamBam? WWB? I've recommended Mummy Laid an Egg several times here but I don't think that's the one you're thinking of somehow! It's about how babies are made, maybe you are thinking of it, just in case you are, it's here! WAs it a book about puberty you wanted?

oooh I could do with a book about puberty for dd1. I don't know if she is aware of the changes in her body yet but I am and I would like to pre-empt the situation with a good book. Any suggestions?

Sorry Mosschops, maybe it was me and I've forgotten, entirely possible. I just looked on Amazon and found this, any good? You can search inside it although I haven't looked.

When I was that age I found the Judy Blume book "Are you there God, it's me Margaret" pretty useful background on periods.

Babette again (as in Cole) for her book Hair in Funny Places as well as the Mummy Laid an Egg already suggested...All good for grown up amusement too!

'Twas me ... the thread is here !

A book I often recommend is Claire Rayner's The Body Book - explains it all in a very matter of fact but sensitive way.
