Pulling up and cruising - normal for one leg to "lead"?

Also posted in Behaviour/Dev. DD is 14.5 months. She's been slow-ish with her gross motor skills, everything else fine. She's not cruising, walking with her v-tech thing etc, but I've noticed that when she stands up she always goes on her right leg first then left leg, iyswim, and when she needs to sit down, it's always her left leg that goes first. Does this sound normal?? They are they same size, if that helps.

You could mention it to your GP next time you're there, or talk to HV, but I wouldn't think it's abnormal to have one leg that's a bit stronger than the other, especially as this leads to it being favoured, and therefore further strengthened.

Remember doing high jump at school? Bet you had a preferred leg too! Just as you have a preferred hand.
