Without a doubt, these ones from Marks and Spencer. We bought ours in July, the delivery guys bring the bits, built them and take away all the rubbish and after you have 'inspected' the beds, you sign the acceptance. And they are absolutely brilliant quality! And that is a really good price. We paid £350 for ours. Our friend waited for ages for the same bed to come into stock as it was OOS. When it did, it was £399 so £319 is a fab price. I don't think you can find a sturdier, nicer bunk beds than these ones...

This wasn't a particularly cheap option but we got our local carpenter to make us pair of bunks. It was £250/bed, so £500 for the set iyswim, but they are fabulous quality, really solid and chunky with a lovely set of steps, can be split into two separate beds and I am so glad we bought them. I looked around online a lot before making that decision and was anxious about spending the money, but it was definitely the right decision.

2nd the M£S ones. Our dc will play quite violently robustly on them and not a wobble. Bloody heavy though... I can't move them an inch.

We got these ones. I spoke to a lady who works there and she recommended these (medium) for young children as they are light and don't need that much memory foam. Their service was really good as well. Mattress arrived all rolled up, and they are really comfy have spent the odd night on it. :) For £90 each, I don't think you can get much better. I really didn't want spring ones as I wasn't keen on the kiddies bouncing on them!

I have these and they are fab, used as 2 singles at the moment until the children are old enough to not break any bones leaping off them.

I got the pocket sprung mattresses and they are very comfy, I have slept in them loads of times as it is always musical beds here. They are at least as comfy as my fairly posh bed.

We bought Mission style bunk beds a year ago. They?re crafted of solid hardwood and are of very good quality. We are planning to move into a bigger home in two years and we didn?t want to buy beds again. These bunk beds can be easily separated into two beds and includes the safety rails for the top bunk.

Those m & s ones are also available at littlewoods and before Xmas they were £240 ish if you can find a £30 off code if you open a new account you can pay with a card too.
