I wasn't really expecting to have this conversation for quite a few years, but DD wanted to know what babies are made of. Actually specifically she wanted to know where her baby brother was while she was in my tummy, so we had some chat about how we hadn't made him yet. Then she wanted to know how they were made. I told her that you get an egg and a seed and put them together and it makes a baby. She wanted to know how you make babies out of food :) I told her that they weren't the sort of seeds and eggs you eat. She wanted to know where they were so I told her that the egg was in my tummy and the seed was in daddy's willy. She wanted to know how you get the seed out and I said with lots of kissing and cuddling. This seemed to satisfy her for now.
Does that sound about right?
She needs to know this stuff because she's planning on having five babies, not now though, probably when she's five :)
