OK! So t'is the week before Christmas and most of the toddler groups seem to have packed up shop for the holidays. So I am wondering what nice things you might be doing this week and to see if I could pinch a few ideas.

My daughter is 1 year old.

So what you up to my lovelies?

go and have a look at some Christmas lights - either town centre ones, or a little drive looking for crazily decorated houses?

we're going to a deer park to see Rudolph et al

2 yo here. Friend over today for dog walk and lunch. Very wet so the DC may well end up playing in the bath afterwards. Painting cardboard cut out Christmas trees this pm. Maybe going to the car wash!!

Tuesday - childminder and my 12 week scan!

Wednesday - my dad visiting. Dog walk in the woods. Find some pine cones. Paint them in the afternoon. Maybe watch 'The Snowman'.

Thursday - car service and visit a friend with same age dc.

Friday - CM for DD and packing for me!

Last week we were frequently found covered in salt dough, so will resort to that again if necessary. Have fun!

Argh! I had exactly the same thought yesterday. Dd is 12mo and I have zero plans this week apart from swimming this afternoon and we're going to a wedding on Wednesday.

I think I might take her scuttlebug down to the seafront for her to have a go on one day, maybe go and see Father Christmas at the shopping centre and have a go at some finger painting.

I shall be watching this thread for some more ideas :)

Well for this afternoons activity we are going to the library. I may try making some salt dough decorations with her too.

More ideas needed as I fear we may get evicted from the library for over use of its facilities

Go to a garden centre and look at all the Christmas lights, baubles, noisy toys and fish if they have them!

We spent 40 minutes watching a toy train on a conveyor belt at the garden centre last week. We're back there again this week. :)

Yes, specialist aquatics centres are good too. Some garden centres have pets.

We made salt dough decorations today (DS is just 2) but it was hard work stopping him eating it. Posting cards is a big source of entertainment.
