I've been using cloth nappies (mainly pop n gro all in ones) since my dd was born. We're now in size 2 and they are quite big on her, but size one is too small. Occasionally we use disposables if we have not caught up with the washing, but it is rare. In the last week though my dd has started to point to the disposable packet and say "please" she screams when I pick up the cloth nappy and when I handed her the disposable to see what she wanted to do with it she took it, smoothed it out - the way I do - and then placed her bum on it - positioned brilliantly and waited for me to fasten it. She was positively beaming. Since she made her feelings clear I have started to admit to myself that pop n gro is probably not very comfy. Too big, too bumfly and the bit that goes round her tummy is really quite stiff and it ruches up, so I think it's probably extremely uncomfortable. Any suggestions for snug nappies to fit a very slender 16 month old (she is tiny for her age - weighs about 18 lbs)? Should I just start to potty train because she hates the nappies? Don't really want to move to paper pants, but she clearly prefers them. I'm thinking now that I will try old -fashioned flat terries with a tutorial from my mum at Christmas, and continue to sit her on her potty fairly regularly - she has taken to using it as a seat, but usually with a nappy on. Very little evidence that she wants to potty train, so I don't think that is a goer. Any advice? Anyone really like Pop n Gro?
