they rarely leak...they are soft and fairly stretchy........and i personally think much better the huggies or pampers!
ds is 21 months and been using tescos brand nappies (3pound.95 nappies) since 6months old......had a phase where we went back to pampers....had a week full of exploding and ballooned nappies...that we went back to tescos!

I prefer George @ ASDA nappies myself!

fruitful · 09/01/2006 19:44

Well I use them when we use disposables. Haven't actually tried Huggies or Pampers though, because the Tescos ones are fine.

colditz · 09/01/2006 19:45

I like Morrison's own brand myself, Tesco's didn't seem to fit ds properly, although good enough nappies in themselves.

I used them, and the Asda ones. I use Lidl's pull ups now.

HunkersDSHasNoFlowertotGoodies · 09/01/2006 19:47

They're MUCH better than Huggies and Pampers (love the current marketing of Huggies as "five - or was it seven - times stretchier than Pampers Baby Dry" - er, well, that's not hard - Baby Dry nappies aren't stretchy!

Charlee · 09/01/2006 19:48

I agree faeriemum! I did a trial for both pampers and huggies and huggies especially were awful! ds would wake up soaked from head to toe everyday!
I much prefer asda or tesco never had anyproblems with them, on the other hand sainsburrys own are crud they leaked everywhere for me!

faeriemum · 09/01/2006 19:53

ds used to flood the whole cot out when wearing pampers......sir pee-a-lot was not a happy chappy!

jane313 · 09/01/2006 19:54

tescos always leaked for me (well for ds not me, Ive been potty trained for many year!)

Charlee · 09/01/2006 19:56

Sir pee alot PMSL!

DS goes through stages of about 2 weeks at a time when i have to put a nappy then plastic pants on him becuase however much he drinks he still wakes up in a huge pool of pee! im forever washing his blankets and sheets.

Piffle · 09/01/2006 20:19

We use tescos at night as dd is dry during day. never noticed them being any worse than pampers and to be frank the fit is better
And they do not smell as bad if they get wee in them

Posey · 09/01/2006 20:21

For ds, Tesco's were the only ones that fitted nicely and didn't leak, and they are a lot cheaper than Pampers or Huggies.

Katemum · 09/01/2006 20:36

I use Tesco pull ups for ds at night and Asda nappies for dd.

NannyL · 09/01/2006 20:46

i prefer tesco nappies over pampers as well!

(tho cloths are my fav!)

Also like the ASDA ones!

Lulu41 · 10/01/2006 13:17

Never used their nappies but am using their pull ups only £3.97 a packet they are great - for the next step

gladbag · 10/01/2006 13:26

I really like the Tescos ones, but ds does sometimes leak in them overnight (twice we've had that horrid gel explosion thing going on...). I use them during the day, then he's in a pampers babydry overnight (which have never ever leaked, even when sometimes the size of a small country by morning). Ds is nealry 2 BTW.

acnebride · 10/01/2006 13:35

tescos nappies were fine fitwise, but ds was allergic to them, also to sainsbury's and superdrug own brands. his bum has expensive tastes - moltex and pampers are OK of course!

longwaytogo · 10/01/2006 14:38

Yep I useTesco,Asda and boots when i'm not using motherease cloth ones.

Always get gel crystals everywhere with huggies

Mummymonster · 11/01/2006 12:28

I've always used Shops own nappies and as Tesco is our main supermarket, we use their's. DS is in Tesco pull ups now as he wont stay still long enough for an ordinary one. DS is 29mths now and pants are on the horizon (if he'd just concentrate enough to be potty trained)
He has had night time leaks depending on his daytime fluid intake and being between sizes but no more than branded nappies when they've been used (in cases where they're cheaper or there is a deal)
Shops own are better value IMHO and you don't pay for the awful adverts and marketing drives!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 11/01/2006 12:39

Tescos - big brownie points
Asda - big brownie points
Sainsburys - ok, not too bad - occasional leak at night
Pampers - jess allergic, becky ok but too expensive when 2 in nappies
Huggies - never tried as too bloody expensive

MummyToToby · 20/03/2006 21:11

anyone had a problem with asda or morrisons nappies leaking?

MummyToToby · 20/03/2006 21:12

or boots or superdrug?

pucca · 20/03/2006 21:14

I have tried them all, tesco's, asda's, sainsbury's, morrisons, pampers, huggies ...

Huggies are good but expensive
Pampers are ok and expensive
Sainsbury's are rubbish!
Morrisons are rubbish
Asda complete rubbish

Tesco's DEFINATELY the best, with my dd (1st baby) i bought the best named nappies and wipes, no 2 (due Aug) i will buy tesco's nappies and wipes from the start.

mum2oneandonemore · 20/03/2006 21:16

I was using Pampers till one week ago for dd (8 weeks old) but then my friend said try tescos , i think tescos nappies are great had no probelms, no leaks nothing 10 out of 10 will not be going back to expensive pampers again!

sweetkitty · 20/03/2006 21:35

I use Tesco's for DD1 occasional leaks but had those with Pampers too, the child wees for Britain. We gave up on cloths as they were leaking too much Boosted tots only lasted 1 1/2 hours!

DD2 still in Pampers Newborn as she's a size 3 no Tesco equivalent but will switch her on to Tescos too.

lucykate · 20/03/2006 21:41

have been using tesco's for ds, not a single leak yet. with pampers he always smelt strongly of wee. not tried asda's.
