DD1 (6) left school throwing snowballs - she hit DD2's wee friend in teh face, then me and then put ssnow down the back of DS (2). I was so cross i put a lump of snow down her neck so she knew how horrible it felt - i felt awful immediately and apologised straight away. However she threw a total strop and tantrum ending in her smashing the stained glass window in our hall. she's upstairs now, what to do next? help please...its been a rubbish day.

If it helps I'd have probably put snow down my DS's back for behaving like that too! Especially if all requests to behave had been ignored.
As for the window...I'm guessing she doesn't have enough pocket money to cover the cost so a while in the dog house is probably ok, followed by make up cuddles & quality mum time Smile
Good luck and I think the weather is due to warm up for a couple of days so no more snow!! Grin

OH

Did she break the window on purpose? If she did it would have resulted in a smacked bottom here. However, that moment has passed. Only you know what she really values - so some time without that I guess is your best punishment now. Do not threaten anything related to Christmas, no matter how bloody tempting!

thank you Petesmum, you've made me feel better....some days are definitely harder than others!
