My DH is 2 and 4 months and not much interested but I was thinking of going a week with her just in pants to see if it got her thinking the right way. Aware that there will undoubtedly be mess to clean up off the floor/sofa/cushions etc. what's best to clean this with

Dettox spray and bounty or baby wipes !

Dirty clothes, tea towels, specially of laminate floor. I keep some of my dirty washing in kitchen and it gets used for pee. For poo I use babywipes and kitchen spray bleach.

dettox spray and lots of washing powder

Tbh, if your dear husband still isn't interested he my need medical help - only joking!

But for your dd, i wouldn't go completely to pants, but perhaps give her a couple of hours (before bathtime?) without a nappy on and tell her to use the potty if she needs to go. THe first thing you need is for her to do an 'accidental' wee in there so she learns what to do, before stressing you both out with lots of clearing up to do.
