Gnappies and general nappy help

My son is nearly ten weeks old and I am coming out of the newborn fug and thinking about moving onto reusable nappies. I've started to look around and there just seems to be so much choice - I've no idea where to begin!

I think that I'll probably get a taster pack to start so that I can try a few different types, but I've just read about Gnappies, which only seem to be sold through their own website. They look quite good, but I think all of them look quite good when I read about them - I'm a sucker for marketing.... Has anyone tried them out?

Thanks very much in advance!

If you do go for the gNappies, have a look on Cheeks and Cherries website - a UK supplier that stocks them. Haven't used them myself, don't really see how they are any different from using a shaped nappy and a wrap, logistics-wise, but I'm sure they feel lovely.

Most people I think go for pockets in the day for convenience and quick drying time, then maybe something more absorbent like a bamboo two parter for night, but trying a few (second hand if you can) is probably your best bet - good luck!

They look quite cute!
I've not tried them myself as we use bamboo terry squares with PUL wraps.
Do have a think about terry squares they are highly under rated.

Taster packs are a great idea.

Also have you considered second hand? place like cloth nappy tree have lots of second hand nappies which mean you can test out quite a few different types. you can then sell on ones you do get on with. For instance I've got PUL wraps that didn't work for us and sold them again for the price I paid.
Also sometimes NCT Nearly new sales have secondhand nappies very cheap.

Also check out your local council as they might also run a nappy scheme. Some give discounts, or money back and some even run cloth mornings to help you make your mind up.

Which ever way you go you'll probably ended up wanting more then you originally thought as they are pretty darn cute.
