baby wee smells really strong.

like amonia. even just the wet ones. i use cloth, could it be the nappy rather than the actual wee?

she rarely takes water, just have a snack b/f if thirsty.

It may well be the cloth, if there's detergent buildup it can hang on to the ammonia smell and it "reactivates" when next wee'd on.

Try stripping your nappies with a 60 degree wash with no detergent and check the rinse for suds, if you see them do another rinse til they're gone.

It's also a good idea to do a maintenance wash on your machine at 90 with nothing in as detergent can get trapped in the drum (I've forgotten to put detergent in before and come out with clean nappies due to all the buildup!!)

Oh and abit of white vinegar in the rinse helps to clear out any limescale too

as well as rinsing the nappies I'd offer her some water. The smell gets worse when she's not drinking enough
