I need a couple of new night nappies as my current bamboozle stretches take too long to dry... so Bumble, huggles, or Ella's house bumhuggers? I have a super wee-er btw! Grin

No suggestions I'm afraid but will be watching with interest as my dream Dri with dri night booster combo isn't cutting it anymore and am currently reduced to using a disposable with wrap!

I've heard good things about Ella's House. I'm using boosted Bamboozles or Bambooty nights. However I don't think the Bambooties are good for heavy wetters. I've got a 2.4 year old and she doesn't pee a huge amount in the night anymore.

I've previously used Wee Notions Night Notions with good success. They take a while to dry though.

Are you able to stick your nappies in a boiler cupboard? That's what I do with mine, hung up on clothes line, and they often dry within a day, even the bamboo ones.

Hmm I could talk to "The Man" about doing something in the boiler cupboard - but it won't be easy.... Anyway - I want to BUY MORE nappies! Grin

My 16 week DD wees through disposables, and sometimes wees through triple boosted bamboozles.... poor huge bottomed child!

I've found 2 terry squares put on together are great overnight, and dry in a day - even my bamboo ones. I like wool longies in the winter (and soakers in summer) as well rather than PUL - it somehow seems to make the nappy last longer, and it doesn't smell quite so disgusting the next morning either. The 2 together are definitely the best combo I've tried.

Magnumwhite · 25/10/2011 15:57

How old is your little one?
I have 20 month old. i found that if I give the bulk of pm milk around 5pm with tea, I have super wet nappy before bath and then give less milk just before going down at 7pm. that seemed to stop overnight leakage.
Obviously irrelevant if you have a young baby..

If the Ella's house you mean are the hemp ones they will absorb amazing amounts but take longer to dry than your bamboozles, most bamboo nappies are very good for absrbency but slow drying so if you don't mind folding them - the fold flat ones will be the thinnest and therefore quickest drying. I don't like pockets as overnight nappies cos I can't get enough stuffing in them for my one woman tsunami of a daughter!

LittleWaveyLines · 25/10/2011 17:51

She's 17 weeks and feeds 2 hourly through the night, so wees a lot. (Feeds 2 hourly during the day as well!)

Hmmm used a bamboo booster as well as the pop on booster and only lasted 9 hours.... How many times does cotton and bamboo need washing to reach full absorbancy - anyone know? Both booster and nappy were washed 3 times ....

We have 3 bamboozle stretch, 3 baby bee hinds - 2 bamboo & 1 hemp, all boosted on the inside with an Aldi microfiber cloth and an Itti bitti boo with the booster snapped in all under a wool soaker. All work fabulously. I couldn't recommend a fitted under wool highly enough for night.

The wool needs washing very rarely, I have 2 & it was nearly a year before I washed & relanolised.

LittleWaveyLines · 28/10/2011 20:53

I thought wool and fleece aren't good if they don't move much? She literally does not move between feeds...

Tonight we are trying a bumble boosted with a microfibre cloth, the pop on booster, and iinside the wrap, but outside the nappy a thick terry booster... oh and because she has a bit of a sore bottom, she has rash cream on, so using a fleece liner....!

... she has one big assed arse! and she's a small 4 months old... Grin

Got to love a big bum [hwink]

I'm not sure about the moving, sorry.

LittleWaveyLines · 30/10/2011 09:29

Soooooo excited! Have found a combination that lasted the full 11 hours required.... (well once so far anyway)

... A Bambeasy stuffed with a microfibre cleaning cloth, its own booster, and boosted in the wrap with a large hemp booster...

Don't care if no-one else is reading this as I'm so happy with it!

Therefore, in my opinion, in order of increasing absorbablenes.... (if there is such a word) they go: Bamboozle, huggle, bumble, bambeasy....
