I never went to Uni and ballsed up school (was bullied) but PPE sounds interesting. My reasoning is that even if I don't do well I will have learnt something and set a good example to my kids who will be going to uni whether they like it or not.

I did manage Philosophy A-level a few years ago and managed an E due to no revision Blush. Exam a mess but essay was ok.

Oh, do it! Is there anything stopping you? I've just done the Level 2 Economics course and, if I was planning my time and courses again, I'd have gone for the PPE route. I think my L3 courses will be Economics and Politics but would like to have done more of these

Have printed off the application form for the starter course Smile. It's only 15 credits but I need to start somewhere.

I'm studying politics with the Ou. My advice to you would be to go for it! But why dont you start with the introductory module dd101 introducing social sciences? It's 60 credits and it will count towards your degree if that's PPE or anything else you may decide along the way! I've changed my mind 3 times already but none of the courses I've done are wasted-they all count. The problem with doing 15 credits is that it won't really be useful for your degree. You'll either have 15 points left over or be trying to somehow find an extra 45 which is very difficult.
I'm not sure how much the 15 credit courses cost but IMO you'd be much better putting it towards dd101 instead as this is a much more realistic start with the Ou. You'll know what to expect for your degree if you do.
This is my personal opinion and have done dd101 and really enjoyed it and found it manageable in terms of workload
