What do you do all day to keep toddler and yourself from getting bored/fed up?

Looking for ideas on what to do/where to go with nearly three year old while ds at school. Not overly keen on toddler groups so just wondered what other mums get up to?

Ride on a bus to a different park! That can take lots of time. They love bus and train rides. And parks. Grin Even in winter we used to go to the swings twice a day just to get out of the house.

Soft play.

City farm if you're in a city or fields where you can feed horses/ pat sheep if you're in the country?

We used to go to a music group and an arty group which mainly consisted of them putting glue in their hair and glitter in their mouths while we drank coffee and cleared up their 5 mins of craft for two hours. It was fun though.

Church playgroups. Often gentler and friendlier than the cliquey ones.

We spend most of our time just playing. I get us out the flat at least once a day and I try to do a craft/cooking thing every day but we spend most of our time playing with dinosaurs and cars. Beginning to think that's wrong though reading some of these Blush

god no, Tiaras, that's what i feel i should be doing. but tbh it bores the tits off me and ds always yells that i'm doing it wrong.

DS tells me off too. And it's boring as hell but sometimes I'll do anything to escape the ironing mountain pile.

God I am so envious with the variety. I live in Sudan. It was 48 degrees today. There are no parks, just desert. It's Peppa / Dora / Spongebob followed by Breakfast, followed by ice cream palour, followed by nap, then lunch, then swimming, then Dora, then dinner, then Peppa, then bed.

DD is 2.5, but DD2 is only 16 months so sometimes hard to do crafty type stuff as she is too young to really do it and then mucks it up for DD1 who then throws a hissy fit!

Swimming, in the main.

dd1 in school now so dd2 who is 2 1/2 is at home full time. DC3 due any second... We do...

Go to little toddler gymnastic group once a week
Meet friends at a small toddler group once a week
Meet up with friends at home or out and about
We go swimming every week which she loves
Running little errands such as off to the post office/shop/bank
Riding her bike around the park
Baking/cooking
watching 'Tangled' for the upteenth time - she is always nagging me to put it on!
Washing the car/involving her in housework - she's very good at washing dishes.
Picnic lunches in the garden if sunny or on floor in house if raining.

We also have school run/pick up to do and dd1 plays well with dd2 so they tend to entertain themselves before and after school.

Sometimes my head feels like it will explode with boredom!

Like most mums it seems i divide days into am and pm and make plans.

nursery 2 pms a week
swimming class
drum class
toddler group
another toddler group
walk to post office
park (locating every park in vicinity and alternating it)
supermarket
playing with sandpit outside
jumping on the bed
reading stories
CBeebies (when desperate....often)
visit relatives (v long journeys so rare)
puzzles
soft play (rarely)
local petting farm
playdates
chasing the cat
.........
did i say park?
