Can anyone recommend a book on 12mths+ and beyond?

All those pregnancy and baby books are no use now

Christopher Green books are good

the what to expect series, after the 'What to expect the first year' there\s another 'What do expect toddlers'. I've found them quite useful

although Idon't think I've cracked the cover for 'What to expect the first year' for poor dd2 who is nearly 1!!!

You could get a comprehensive guide of the first 5 years by someone like Penelope Leach or Miriam Stoppard too

I've got the What to expect first year one
It's okay, a bit American but the index is completely wrong!!

'The Social Toddler'; highly recommended. I had the What To Expect baby book and thought it was cack.

Penelope Leach? I love the way she writes.

ROFL at concept on you thinking you're going to have time to read with a toddler around

Social Toddler, I agree. Made me feel I had a strategy for tantrums. What To Expect the Toddler Years was less useful because by then the differences in what is "normal" for a child that age become so big the monthly chapters can't handle it

www.babycentre.co.uk has a lot of information on it from Penlelope leach. I like it cos its easy to search for a specific subject which I need help on. And, I never get time to sit down and read a whole book. I've got Toddler Taming by Christopher Green which is good and easy to dip in and out of. But, I think I do prefer the babycentre advice.
