MMR Jab

This is a genuine question, not intended as a "hand grenade".

My DS had the MMR back in the days when the Wakefield uproar was in full flow, back then, emotions and scare stories ran full tilt. So I only let him have the first injection. He has since had the second when my daughter had her first MMR. As there had been an outbreak of measles in our borough, she had to have a second injection 4 weeks later. She's now nearly 4 and I've had a letter from our HV reminding me about her pre-school check and MMR booster.

My question is this: As she has already had 2 injections, would you send her along for a third? When DS was a baby, only 2 injections were required.

Ring the surgery and ask them.

No. Only 2 needed, doesn't really matter when they have them as long as more than 4 weeks apart.
If your HV disagrees then speak to your GP.

Will do. Many thanks!
