Inappropriate kissing from DS..?

Would nayone find this innappropriate if they say this. I just stopped b'feeding ds at 12 months (he's now 14 months) and he's still comforted by the latching on and suckling. Since he can't get to my norks, he does it to my erm lips. It all looks a bit french. DP says it looks odd (read Freudian) and the HV said it might start to look a bit inapropraiet to others now he's no longer a baby. I find it really cute and hilarious when he falls over and then comes up to me with his tongue hanging out! Like me and Dp used to be!

my dd hasnt got the hang of kissing either, shes 14 month too! if you ask for a kiss she either (if its me) says no and crawls (really fast) in the other direction laughing or (if its her dad or shes in an exceptionally good mood) opens her mouth real wide waits for you to put your mouth to hers and either bites or tries to shove her tounge in your mouth!!!

what a lovely little kiss, in no way innappropriate and i wouldnt think it was odd if saw a lo doing it! hv get on my t*ts sometimes!!!

I'm not pretending - I think it's an inappropriate "joke"

If its any consolation Monkeybum, bottlefed DS has now started snogging me in such a manner as you describe. I think it's really really cute and lovely and snuggly and gives me the warm and fuzzies (especially now I have realised I can not only deal with but actually accept baby dribble )

If it had been related to how he reacted when he saw my norks he would have got within an inch of my face and screamed. This would not give me the warm and fuzzies.

monkeynutsroastingonanopenfire · 19/12/2005 19:38

Aw cool snoggy babies!!

CometheytoldmepapapaPapillon · 21/12/2005 12:05

just seen this so for all those distressed MNetters, I tandem feed - feed two babies (a toddler and a baby) Monkeytrousers knows this (she is a mate of mine) - was teasing her.

It is a known fact that woman can have aroused feelings when breast feeding - like or loathe it.

...only the mere male laughed and MT who fancies me don´t you darling

awwwwww

my dd2 (14mths) does wide open kisses, sticks her tongue out, the lot

if i say a mummy and baby kissing ike this i would think it was gorgeous!

kissing your baby (or anyone) stems from feeding anyway as in ye olden days a mother would chew the food for the baby and then pass it by mouth (before days of blenders etc)

its all gorgeous and i love it

drool...

LizzylouDonkey · 21/12/2005 16:47

My 21 mth old still kisses me open mouthed, for ages (no tongues anymore!), he also makes "hmmm" noises as he does it...he is very loving and affectionate and I will be devastated when he stops...

monkeynutsroastingonanopenfire · 21/12/2005 19:09

Yes, monkeychops goes 'mmmmmm'. I was out all day and got super snogs when I got back. My lips are twice the size they usually are. Better than collage!
